Ano passado entrei com um projeto para a co-produção de 1 episódio de 11 minutos desenho animado para crianças num concurso nacional chamado ANIMATV. Meu projeto passou, foi produzido em 2009 e agora ele está pronto!
Ele chama “Piratas VS Ninjas VS Robôs VS Caubóis“, e vai passar na televisão a partir da semana que vem!
- Dia 26 – TV Cultura 11h30, TV Brasil 11h00
- Dia 29 – TV Cultura 16h30, TV Brasil 15h00
- Maratona com todos os projetos – Dia 30, nos dois canais, 14h30~18h00
Além disso também vai passar na Rede Minas e em outros canais estaduais, conforme esse link.
Pela primeira vez piratas, ninjas, robôs e caubóis se unem em uma batalha épica para provar sua superioridade, na qual apenas um grupo poderá sair vencedor. Os piratas são um grupo barulhento, ardil, que não medem esforços para obter qualquer tesouro almejado. Os ninjas conseguem permanecer em um ambiente sem serem notados por dias! Se você viu um ninja, ele não era um ninja. Os robôs não ficam atrás dos ninjas (mesmo porque um ninja não se expõe assim): capazes, competentes e eficazes – a não ser que sejam desligados, é claro. Problema este que os caubóis não têm, também conhecidos por sua competência, julgamento correto, código de honra e conduta. Seus talentos fazem de cada grupo praticamente imbatível de uma maneira única e, sendo praticamente opostos em comportamento e atitude, eles não conseguem evitar o conflito. Não conseguem e não querem, pois as batalhas são absoluta diversão! Mesclando esses quatro universos já bem conhecidos, a série “Piratas VS Ninjas VS Robôs VS Caubóis” cria essa situação improvável, explorando o humor pela combinação inesperada deacontecimentos um tanto non-sense e referências ao universo imagético dos cartoons e dos games.

Legendary Street Fighter player, the best Urien in the world, RX (!!!!!!!!!) payed us a visit here in Brazil.
Maybe that’s why the Yun and the Yang of the world are really unbalanced. 
It was unbelievably good playing with him. He is on such a greater level of the game!
He’s mesmerizing to watch, he has extraordinary offense and defense, crazy combos, such elegant and precise execution! Plus, he is such a nice guy!
I was really happy I got the chance to play him in a tournament. At winner’s finals, even!

Thigh Spot
Another painting commissioned for a “Mirror Matches” Street Fighter III 3rd Strike Tournament. The players could only use Chun-li in this edition. I played in the tournament, and got second. Chun vs Chun matchup is such a nightmare to me… But I’m getting better! Learned a lot from this one. The winner was quite happy with his print (he would even buy one if he hadn’t won it already as the grand prize of the tournament)

A different kind of grafitti opens up a question: Is selective cleaning a crime?
Alexandre Orion was caught drawing on a tunnel in São Paulo, but the police couldn’t charge him of anything for he wasn’t painting city property: he was drawing by cleaning the soot out of the tunnel’s walls.
Ended up on they cleaning the whole area on which Alexandre had drawn on, but since he continued drawing on the next few days at the walls that hadn’t been cleaned, the authorities decided to take drastic action and cleaned every tunnel on the city!
Clean grafitti… I think it’s a pretty cool inversion.
Paul “Moose” Curtis has even done it commercially for clients such as Ariel, Xbox, Big Brother and Smirnoff!
